Gel Nail Course

Prerequisite: Manicure Course or Esthetics Course

(This program does not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005)

The student studies and develops an understanding of all techniques to create beautiful gel nails.  

Students will work on one another and are required to bring in clients for scheduled practical classes.

Theory and practical includes the following:

• products and implement knowledge
• infection control
• nail prep  for gel nail enhancements
• correcting problem and bitten nails
• shaping, filing and buffing
• tip and form applications
• repairs and mends
• re-balancing
• introduction to nail art
• introduction to acrylic enhancements
